I created Enneagram Ashton after discovering how impactful the Enneagram can be in understanding yourself and others. As someone who loves to help others (aka an undeniable Enneagram 2), I consider it a privilege to share this amazing tool with others.

For thousands of years, people have always been looking to understand who they are and seeking to put words to their behaviors. Tools like Myers-Briggs, StrengthsFinder, and the DISC assessment have helped individuals and groups describe pieces of their personality. But WHY do we behave that way? WHY are we like that?
Insert the Enneagram. An ancient tool that has been around for thousands of years. Instead of focusing on your behaviors, the Enneagram is about the why, the how, and the motivations behind our behaviors. When we know WHY we do something, we can understand ourselves more deeply and ultimately change the behaviors that we don’t like. So let’s take an ancient tool and apply it to our understanding of today.
The Enneagram forces us to recognize that we all view the world differently. That there is often more than one right way of doing something. So how can we better understand people who have a different worldview than our own? This is where the Enneagram comes in.
Imagine a world where instead of getting frustrated at others’ behaviors, you started to understand why they were behaving that way. Instead of being quick to judge, you asked questions and listened. Instead of assuming that everyone should act like you, you were able to understand the differences in others.
Because when we know better, we can do better.
Researchers claim that we will spend 1/3 of our lives at work. This means that we spend more waking hours with our colleagues and coworkers than anyone else. A successful business and organization is only as strong as its people and the relationships within the group.
The Enneagram is a powerful tool that allows us to understand each other more deeply. The way that we communicate. How we work through conflict. Our strengths and our areas for growth in the workplace. Learning about the Enneagram can help strengthen relationships inside (and outside) of the working environment.

Enneagram tests are a great place to start, but so much more clarity can come from a personalized session. Enneagram tests are only around 60% accurate and are focused more on behavior instead of motivation.
